The One Year Mark

One Year Car Decal_0.jpg

December 10 2011

Big Life Foundation just hit the One Year mark since we were up and running in the field. This is what happens to a decal on the side of one of the Big Life anti-poaching patrol vehicles in that time.

If I buy a new print such as Elephant with tattered ears can the funds be ear marked ( ....tattered ears ) for the compensation scheme at Rombo ?

Nigel

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all your efforts. Together, you are the angels these beautiful creatures so desperately need. I wish I had unlimited funds, but, not being Bill Gates, I've at least put your website on my bookmarks bar to remind me to make a small donation each & every month. I don't think I've ever seen photos as lovely as these. How did you convey their stories so well in a single photograph, Mr. Brandt? Each one brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you for what you are doing.

Janet

Hi Janet
Thanks so much for your kind words. In answer to your question, I didnt know that I did(!), but if you saw the 99.9% of crappy frames on my contact sheets, you might think less favourably.

hi Nick
Congratulation,
Its a one year mark with fantastic and unbelievable result!...Poachers arrested, a very strong and knowledgeable team on the ground, creation of several bases at 'black spot areas',local community support and recognition........doing these within one year is unbelievable comparing to what government institution has been doing since its inception!
I come from Rombo where you recently launched a base, the local community there are very happy with Big life foundation rangers especially the farmers at the irrigation schemes.Kuddos
